UGA, University of Georgia Scholarships awarded more than $3.5 million in scholarships and awards from University Foundation funds to undergraduate students last year. Most academic (merit-based) scholarships for first-year students are awarded during the Admissions process.

- Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.
4. University of Georgia Baldwin Scholarship
- Annual renewable $2,000 stipend for Georgia residents.
- Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.
5. University of Georgia Classic Scholars
- Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.
6. University of Georgia Charles McDonald Brown Scholarship

11. University of Georgia Harris Scholarship

14. Presidential Waivers
- Awarded in conjunction with other UGA academic scholarships, given to 75-100 new non-resident students annually
15. Chick-fil-A Bowl Scholarship
- $4,000 renewable award for eight full-time semesters, provided recipient maintains the required criteria
- Students must maintain full-time enrollment and a 2.8 UGA GPA.
All scholarships awarded by the Undergraduate Admissions office are renewable for eight semesters of full-time enrollment, or the completion of a Bachelor’s degree. To renew the scholarship each year, students must maintain specific academic requirements which are detailed in the award letter.

University of Georgia UGA Tuition – UGA Tuition and Fees
UGA fees and tuition is dramatically lowered for students from Georgia. For in-state students, tuition and fees is set at $12,080 for the 2019 – 2020 year, 61.2% off the price charged to out-of-state students. Tuition is $9,790 and fees $2,290.
UGA out-of-state undergrads paid $31,120 in tuition and fees in 2019 – 2020. $2,290 was fees, and $28,830 was charged for tuition.
