Note that this article won’t teach you how to reset your password in a situation where you forgot your password, it only teaches how to change it when you have already logged in to your account.
- Login to the Facebook account you wish to change its password
- Click on the down arrow at the top right corner of the page
- Then click setup button
- From the setup page, select general
- Then click on edit just in front of password
- Facebook will display a password change page where you have to input your present password and the new password twice
- Make sure your new password is perfect and hard to decode, it’s better to use a combination of digits, letters and symbols which you won’t easily forget.

After inputting the required password, select confirm, if your present password is correct then Facebook will automatically change your password to the new one you just input but if it’s not correct then you will have to reset your password which can be done at the login page by clicking forget password.
