Change My Facebook Password – For those of us who aren’t good at keeping password, If you’ve lost your password – you can only access your account after resetting the password.
Reset informs Facebook to forget about the lost password but rather send you a new reset code. Usually the Facebook reset code is sent to the mobile number associated with your Facebook account.

Keep in mind that Reset is different from changing password on Facebook. If you have your password – what you should do is to change your password. This is straighter forward because you’ll not be asked too many security questions to prove ownership of the account.
If you’re logged in but have forgotten your password, follow the steps under Change Your Password then click Forgot your password? and follow the steps to reset it. Keep in mind that you’ll need access to the email associated with your account.

Go to the Find Your Account Page.
Type the email, mobile phone number, full name or username associated with your account, then click Search.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

To change your password on Facebook if you’re already logged in:
Click in the top right corner of any Facebook page and select Settings.
Click Security and Login.
Click Edit next to Change Password.
Enter your current password and new password, and re-type new password.
Click Save Changes.
If you’re logged in but have forgotten your password, follow the steps under Change Your Password then click Forgot your password? and follow the steps to reset it. Keep in mind that you’ll need access to the email associated with your account.
